About this Event

We are offering a FREE introduction to avalanche safety in Avoriaz on the 14th December.

To get your knowledge topped up before the season kicks off we will cover the following:

Safety procedures - what to do & who can help
Reading the snow pack and the terrain
Use of avalanche safety equipment with a transceiver burial test
Tips on how to ski off-piste safely and efficiently

The session will be held in Avoriaz on the 14th December 2019. The meeting point will be at the top of the Prodain's Telecabin, the Peak Snowsports instructors will be waiting here.

You will need to bring the following:

Backpack containing:
Shovel
Transceiver
Probe
Skis / Board suitable for off piste
Helmets are advised but not compulsory

Attendees will need to be able to ski / ride a red run comfortably and places available for a maximum of 10. Register on Eventbrite by clicking “register now” below.
