Your Story
I was a whippersnapper when I started on the glacier of Kaprun. An enthusiastic bunch of trainee Belgian instructors had the unfortunate task of using me, my sister and my brothers as guinea pigs for their teacher training. They were clearly good teachers as by the end of our lessons we were less bamby on ice and more graceful gazelles.
Shortly after this, I joined a local race club back home on the dry slope for a while and gave that up to pursue what seemed like every other sport in the world! I quickly returned to skiing through my teens, competing in the British free ski circuit with my brothers and working weekends teaching people how to ski at my local dry slope.
Lots of family ski holidays subconsciously topped up my appetite to pursue something in the industry at some point. Fast forward to finishing A-Levels and making that big decision most young adults find – university/gap year/work? Or all the above! I went with ski season and haven’t looked back since.
I now co-run Peak Snowsports operating in 4 resorts, deliver instructor exams and instructor training for BASI (British Association of Snowsports of Instructors) and raced a couple of seasons in the Army.
When I’m not skiing, you can find me between Morzine and the Surrey Hills. I’m super patient and love finding the best style of teaching to suit your needs!

A really good pair of Googles, makes you feel like you’re in your own world! Or my lovely little short johns that have padded knee and bum patches, toasty on those really cold days!
