Travel Update - Morzine Ski Area Closed
As of Sunday 15 March all French ski resorts PEAK Snowsports currently operates in will close for the remainder of the season due to the ongoing outbreak of Coronavirus and in accordance with restrictions imposed by French authorities.
Due to this recent change we recommend you do not travel to your intended resort as there will be no ski lessons or courses delivered. Our decision is based on the operational situation and Government advice.
The situation is changing daily and we will continue to provide updates through this blog, our social channels and via our client emails. It’s essential we protect everybody through this tough time. Please continue being patient and we will do all we can to help.
We will be contacting everyone who has booked lessons with PEAK Snowsports to explain the current situation.
If you have any questions about your booking:
Cancellation:
Due to the operational situation where the French Prime Minister has announced France is in stage 3 of the Corona Virus epidemic and effectively closed the resort. Just like when the lift company close lifts for inclement weather, we are unable to process a full refund on any course or lessons for the remainder of this winter (as of 15/3/20). We will do all we can to work with you and your insurers should they challenge your claim.
We are advising the following steps:
Gather your order confirmation and proof of purchase
Raise a claim with your insurers
Ask us for a letter confirming the purchase and the current position of the resort
Let us know if you have issues with your insurer and we’ll work with you on the claim
If you would like to rebook for season 20/21 we would like to offer you a 10% discount on your rebooking. Valid until 30th April.
Thank-you
